Drive to Morogoro Town after breakfast, passing via the Isimila Stone Age Site. This seasonal watercourse has produced one of the world’s most extensive collections of Stone Age artefacts and tools. Even if you’re not interested in archaeology, Isimila is worth a visit for the gorgeous ravine, which features a number of sandstone pillars carved out by an extinct river. The Ala Sofia Hotel will host dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, continue your drive to Selous Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go on a boat safari along the Rufiji River to see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Back to the lodge for supper and a night’s rest.

After breakfast, go on a full-day game drive in Selous, along the Rufiji River, which is home to lions, leopards, hunting dogs, and a variety of other animals including waterbuck, impala, warthog, eland, giraffe, zebra, and elephants. Return to the lodge for supper and a well-deserved rest.
After breakfast, you will travel back to Dar with a picnic lunch along the Mloka – Kibiti route. The journey will last over 7 hours and take you through one of Tanzania’s most beautiful locations. You will arrive in Dar late in the afternoon.
