Arrive in Tanzania at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will meet and greet our driver and guide. Then transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight at the midrange accommodation.
After your breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It’s about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Arusha. Lake Manyara National Park is at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. The park is named after the soda lake in the middle of the park. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, great bird life, and lesser flamingos. At the end of the day, we drove to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the farm house. All meals are included.
After breakfast, it’s time for the famous Ngorongoro Crater. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the lodge to the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, enjoy the magnificent tropical forest on your way to Crater View Point, where you will witness one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts the finest blend of landscapes, wildlife, people, and archaeological sites in Africa. Often called "the African Eden". The Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, is nestled in a range of extinct volcanoes that rise to heights of more than 3,500 metres (11,483 feet). It is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world, measuring 19.2 km (12 miles) in diameter, 610 m (2,000 feet) deep, and 304 square kilometres (117 square miles) in area. Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic crater. There’s rich pasture, swamps, forest, and permanent water on the crater floor, which is why wildlife is so diverse and numerous. The crater floor is home to the largest population of mammals, and you can spot the big five here in a relatively small area. It's just stunning. Is the best opportunity to see black rhinos and many other rare species, like the black-maned lion. After the game drive, enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring in the crater. After lunch, enjoy the rest of your time for a game drive and a late afternoon drive to the lodge. Dinner and overnight are at Ndutu Mbugani Camp, all meals included.
After breakfast, you will take a lunchbox with you and drive to Ndutu. Ndutu is in the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and connects to the southern part of the Serengeti. Ndutu is an alkaline lake, as are the majority of the other Rift Valley lakes; yet, the water is still potable and is utilised by the animals. The Ndutu area has palatable grasses with nutritional value that attract wild animals for grazing after the rainy season. This makes the area very potential for a great wildebeest migration, which is also joined by other animals like zebras and gazelles, not to mention big cats and other predators that follow the migration in search of easy prey. Also, Ndutu is the only area with multiple land uses where humans and wildlife can share the same habitat, which allows us to do off-roading. After game viewing, drive back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Mbugani Camp All meals are included.
After breakfast at the camp, drive with a parked lunch or a hot lunch from the camp and enjoy a full-day game drive in the Ndutu area. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the Ndutu short grass plains. You can see great herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around February, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides security for the young calves, although they are easy prey. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born, and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. After this unforgettable day, drive back to the camp. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Mbugani Camp All meals are included.
After breakfast at the camp and a parked lunch, drive towards the central Serengeti, also known as Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. The Seronera area is one of the best places for wildlife to live in the park. The Seronera River, which runs through the area, is an important water source that brings in animals that are good examples of most of the Serengeti's species. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati camp, all meals included.
After breakfast at the camp, game on route to the Seronera airstrip for embarking to Arusha airport. When you get to Arusha airport, you'll meet our driver, who will take you to the lodge or to Kilimanjaro International Airport so you can catch your next international flight. NOTE: This safari can be connected to the Zanzibar Island tour; this beautiful island along the Indian Ocean is reputed to have the most unique and attractive white sand beach in the world. After a long safari, you can swim and relax while stretching your back and waiting for your flight home.
