The Lake Duluti Serena resort is the ideal starting point for a honeymoon safari, and its accommodations are designed to evoke the former colonial coffee plantation that existed on the property. Because today is such a long day, you will have plenty of time to explore the parts of the region that you did not get to on day one. This drives home the point that the greater the distance you go, the more you are able to see and the better the experience you have. Travel in the evening to the lodge. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at the Maromboi Tented Lodge, which offers stunning vistas of the surrounding plains, Lake Show, and the magnificent sunsets that occur in the late evenings. The soda lake in the middle of the park is where the park gets its name. The park is well-known for its lesser flamingos, fantastic birdlife, and tree-climbing lions. Our four-wheel-drive vehicle will take you down to the crater bottom for game viewing, where you will see one of the most stunning landscapes in the world. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area has Africa’s best mix of landscapes, animals, people, and ancient monuments. It is commonly referred to as “the African Eden.” The Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, is surrounded by extinct volcanoes that soar to heights of more than 3,500 metres (11,483 feet). It is the world’s biggest unflooded and unbroken caldera, measuring 19.2 km (12 miles) in circumference, 610 m (2,000 ft) in depth, and 304 square kilometres (117 square miles) in size. Ngorongoro is a massive and deep volcanic crater. Because there is lush grazing, wetlands, woodland, and constant water on the crater floor, the fauna is varied and prolific. The crater bottom has the most animals, and you can see all five of them in a pretty small space. It’s just breathtaking. is the ideal place to witness black rhinos and many other uncommon animals, such as the black-maned lion. After the wildlife drive, have a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring in the crater. After lunch, spend the remainder of your time on a wildlife drive and a late afternoon drive to the resort. After breakfast, leave for the world’s most renowned national park, the Serengeti. On your route, you’ll stop briefly at the Ngorongoro Crater View Point. Anyone seeing this for the first time will never forget it. As you go farther into the Serengeti, you will see why it was dubbed “Serengeti” in Maasai, which means “endless plain.” It is the home of the Great Migration of wildebeests, which serves as the park’s symbol. This massive migration brings together millions of species, including wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. This provides the African big cats with an abundance of food, which is why we name it the “Home of the African Big Cats” (lions, leopards, and cheetahs). It is also a fantastic site to see enormous predators. This park is also home to over 500 different bird species. Drive to the camp in the evening. KubuKubu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Seronera, or centre of the Serengeti, is the best place to see animals. Seronera contains water all year, making it an excellent home for wildlife. It’s where predators wait for the animal to arrive for drinking and wallowing, and it may provide you with a firsthand look at how predators kill and prepare their prey. The twilight journey to the lodge after a long game drive at KubuKubu Tented Lodge provides dinner and overnight accommodations. Every meal is provided.

You may participate in an optional activity on this day. A balloon safari is one of the most delightfully unforgettable Serengeti experiences, allowing you to glide tranquilly above the splendour of the plains. A balloon ride provides a unique view of the Serengeti. Wildlife tracks left by generations of animals will be visible from the ground. You will be picked up extremely early, at 5:00 a.m., and brought to the launching place of the balloon journey. The balloon journey lasts until approximately 7:30 a.m., and you can witness the sun rise from the balloon while experiencing the true essence of Africa. Following the balloon journey, you will be treated to champagne and a bush brunch, which typically concludes around 10 a.m. After a bush breakfast, you will meet your guide, who will take you on another spectacular day of Serengeti game watching. After lunch, we will proceed to the Hotel Verde to settle in and unwind before participating in the evening’s activities.

Day 13: Prison Island tour & Evening shopping

After having breakfast at the hotel and travelling to Stone Town, you will board a boat and lower anchor on the beautiful beach of Prison Island, five kilometres away. Prison Island, also known as Changuu, is home to a 198-year-old tortoise that is the island’s most famous inhabitant. The island’s penitentiary, which was constructed in 1893 for the purpose of housing prisoners, is accessible by landing on the island’s fine, white sand. Break out of incarceration and investigate the Aldabra’s enormous, aimless tortoises in search of nutritious vegetation. You may speak with the devoted conservationists of the charity, which established Prison Island as the only refuge dedicated to rescuing these incredible creatures. After you’ve come to know the stranded wanderers, reach down and give them some of their preferred vegetation. Make pals with a turtle before heading to the shore to acquire snorkelling equipment. Float above the coral reef to observe some of the 400 species of fish that inhabit these littoral coasts, including the rare lionhead cichlid. Before returning to Zanzibar Island, spend some time basking in the sun.

Before returning to the hotel for your last night, conclude the day with a souvenir-buying excursion in Stone Town. Included is dinner at the hotel.
