Pick-up in the early morning and drive to Dar airport for your flight to Kigoma. Arrive at Kigoma airport at 9:10 a.m. Following airport formalities, we will pick you up and drive you through Kigoma/Ujiji Town, stopping at one of the finest eateries for a hearty breakfast before going to Kibirizi port.
To reach to Gombe National Park before midday, leave the Kibirizi boat port at 10:00 a.m. After registering and checking the park’s admittance requirements, you’ll have a brief lunch break before heading on an afternoon trek. The walk will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end about 6:00 p.m. The chimp families who live inside the park’s boundaries are probably the park’s main appeal. Visitors take long walks into the jungle to learn and spend the nighttime with the amazing monkeys. Aside from chimps, the tropical forests of Gombe Stream are home to a variety of other primates. The deep forest is home to Valve and Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik, as well as a varied assortment of tropical fauna. Tanapa Resthouse will be your supper and overnight stop.
On the second day, an early breakfast will be followed by a hike to the Kakombe waterfall and then a trek to the chimpanzees’ designated location for the day. Depending on your fitness, we may go on an evening trek that ends around 6:00 p.m., or you can spend the second day’s evening relaxing on the beach and possibly swimming at the base
After breakfast, you will board a boat back to Kigoma town, where you will be driven straight to the airport for your trip back to Dar es Salaam.
