
You’ll need to leave the Aqua boat docking at about 10 a.m. to make it to Gombe National Park by lunchtime. After registering and reviewing the park’s entry regulations, you’ll take a brief break and have lunch before setting out on an afternoon trek. The stroll will begin between 2:00 and 3:30 and end at about 6:00. TANAPA Kasekela Rest House, will accommodate you and served your first dinner in the park.
The primary draw of Gombe Stream National Park is undoubtedly the chimp families who dwell inside the park’s limits. Visitors take long hikes into the forest to study and spend the evening with the remarkable primates. Aside from chimp watching, the tropical woodlands of Gombe Stream are home to a variety of other primates. The deep forest is home to Val vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik, as well as a diverse array of tropical wildlife. Tanapa Resthouse will be your destination for dinner and overnight.

The second day will begin with an early breakfast, a walk to the Kakombe waterfall, and a trek to the chimpanzees’ destination for the day. After a second-long day of hiking and trekking, you’ll go back to camp for some food and relaxation at about 1 p.m. You will spend the second day’s evening lounging on the beach, reading, and maybe going for a swim at the base.
This is the final day within the Gombe National Park. After breakfast, around 8 or 9 a.m., you will commence your final trek to the chimpanzees across the hills. After nearly four hours in the park, you will return to camp to rest and eat lunch before leaving for Kigoma.
