
You’ll need to leave the Aqua boat docking at about 10 a.m. to make it to Gombe National Park by lunchtime. After registering and reviewing the park’s entry regulations, you’ll take a brief break and have lunch before setting out on an afternoon trek. The stroll will begin between 2:00 and 3:30 and end at about 6:00. TANAPA Kasekela Luxury Tented Camp, will accommodate you and serve your first dinner in the park.
Chimpanzee families are Gombe Stream National Park’s main attraction. Besides chimps, Gombe Stream’s tropical woodlands are home to Verve and Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik, as well as other tropical fauna. Dinner and sleep at TANAPA Kasekela Luxury Tented Camp.
This is the final day within the Gombe National Park. After breakfast, around 8 or 9 a.m., you will commence your final trek to the chimpanzees across the hills. After nearly four hours in the park, you will return to camp to rest and eat lunch before leaving for Kigoma.
