To get to Gombe National Park before noon, you'll need to depart the Aqua beach boat pier at 9 a.m. After signing up and looking over the rules for getting into the park, you'll take a short break for lunch before going on a hike in the afternoon. The walk will start about 2:00 p.m. and conclude around 6:00 p.m. The primary draw of Gombe Stream National Park is undoubtedly the chimp families that dwell within the park's boundaries. Visitors take lengthy hikes into the forest to study and spend the evening with the remarkable primates. Aside from chimp watching, the tropical woodlands of Gombe Stream are home to a variety of other primates. The deep forest is home to Valve and Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik, as well as a diverse array of tropical wildlife.
