On the first day of your safari, we’ll pick you up in Nairobi and show you a genuine Kenyan welcome. A short briefing will be given before your trip to the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is likely that you may come into contact with Maasai and other native people as you go through Narok.
In the evening, your guide will lead you on a game drive across the Masai Mara in search of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, and rhinoceroses. When the day’s game drive is over, you’ll be brought back to the lodge for dinner and bed.
After breakfast at your lodge, your driver guide will take you on a full-day safari across the Masai Mara reserve in search of animals including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, and cheetahs.
You will go on a morning and an afternoon game drive as you travel across the Masai Mara in search of local animals and other sights. Following your game drives, your guide will transport you back to your lodge, where you will spend the night and have supper.
The fourth day of your safari will begin with breakfast at your Masai Mara lodge as you prepare to travel to the Serengeti National Park. Your driver guide in Kenya will drive you to the Ethiopian border, where you will be met by your driver guide in Tanzania, who will welcome you in Tanzanian style for the safari in this magnificent country. You will proceed to your lodge in Serengeti National Park for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
You will get two game drives in Serengeti National Park this day, one in the morning after breakfast at your lodge and another in the afternoon. On the vast savannah plains, you may perhaps see elephants, wildebeests, hippos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, kudus, cheetahs, lions, and leopards.
After a morning spent exploring the Serengeti, you’ll refuel with lunch before setting out on an afternoon adventure. After supper, you’ll go back to your lodge for the night.
After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, your guide will take you on a wildlife drive across the Serengeti Plains and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way to Arusha, where you will spend the night in a hotel and have a delicious meal.
Your morning in Arusha will begin with breakfast at the hotel before you check out and catch your flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Entebbe Airport in Uganda.
Your Ugandan guide will meet you at the airport in Entebbe and take you to your accommodation for the night.
You will have breakfast early in the morning before leaving your accommodation in Entebbe and continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will make a pit break in Mbarara Town where you will have lunch and also make a pit stop at the equator.
You will travel to Bwindi National Park after lunch and check into your lodge there. Dinner and an overnight stay at one of our esteemed hotel partners in Bwindi National Park
On the ninth and tenth days of your safari, you will have an early breakfast at the lodge, pack a lunch, and then meet your driver guide to go to the park’s administrative centre for a gorilla trekking briefing. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to travel with and a park guide who is knowledgeable about mountain gorillas and the various gorilla trekking tracks.
The mountain gorillas will allow you to spend an hour with them in their natural habitat, giving you the chance to observe their behaviours, watch them engage in daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, and grooming young ones, and take pictures and videos. While trekking, you will also have the opportunity to see other primate species, various bird species, and plants, among others. After your hour with the gentle giants, you’ll go back to the lodge for some downtime, supper, and the night. You will more than likely have a good chance of seeing gorillas throughout these two days.
The eleventh day is the last day of this expedition. You will wake up at the lodge and have breakfast before setting off for the drive from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to either Entebbe or Kampala. Lunch will be provided on the way, after which you’ll be dropped off in either Kampala or Entebbe, depending on where you’re going.
