It is 240 kilometres away from Arusha and takes 4.5 hours to get there. Following breakfast, you will meet with our expert tour guide. He or she will give you a quick safari briefing before driving you east to Tarangire National Park. The park is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and follows the Tarangire River’s course. Acacia forest and enormous African Baobab trees make up the majority of its native vegetation, with vast swamplands in the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, wild animals are drawn to the river and the wetlands. According to legend, the Tarangire National Park is home to among of Africa’s greatest elephant herds. In addition to two thrilling wildlife drives along the Tarangire River in the morning and afternoon, we’ll have a picnic lunch within the park. The tour will culminate with a fee-based hotel drop-off from our starting location.
