Tour Plan

01
Day 01 : Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet-and-greet assistance will be provided. You will be met cordially by the employees of our company, and then you will be introduced to your driver guide and given a safari briefing. Check in at the Kigali Serena Hotel or the hotel of your choice after being transferred there.

Mount Kigali, which is the country’s highest peak at an elevation of 1,850 metres above sea level, towers above the country’s capital and largest city, Kigali, which is spread out over undulating, verdant hills surrounded by towering mountains. Kigali is the country’s financial, economic, and cultural centre. It is served by an international airport and has a broad choice of housing options, restaurants, and areas of interest. Some of them include the Kigali Genocide Center, an atmospheric market, and several artisan stores. It is considered that Kigali is one of the most appealing towns in Africa because of its distinctive architecture, bustling streets, meandering boulevards, and green hillside. If you ever find yourself in Africa, you should make it a point to check out this city.

02
Day 02: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes Nationa Park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel to the Kigali genocide memorial centre, which honours the over one million Rwandans slain in 1994 through education and peace building. You may view and hear survivors’ videos. After lunch, you will travel to Volcanoes National Park along the scenic road to your hotel. Relax and prepare for tomorrow’s hike in the afternoon.

Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park protects endangered mountain gorillas. Visitors come to see these amazing animals. The park located on the jungle-covered Virunga Mountains. Visitors may spend an hour with these amazing monkeys in the reserve on highly restricted excursions. The gorillas are the major attraction, but tourists may also stroll on gorgeous paths, see Dian Fossey’s mausoleum, and climb to Mount Bisoke’s Crater Lake.

03
Day 03: Gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park

Transfer to the park headquarters after breakfast. Your ranger will explain the gorilla protocol. You’ll hunt the jungle for gorillas. The trekking time depends on the gorillas’ movement and your group’s pace. Visit the gorillas for an hour. After a terrific adventure, stroll back to the starting point and be taken to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you may rest at your lodge or go on a walking tour of Rwandan culture. Dinner and hotel stay.

The Volcanoes National Park’s 10 gorilla families may be discovered through gorilla trekking. Before the hike, visitors may have coffee and be divided into groups of eight by physical ability. A guide and two emergency-trained scouts lead each party. The gorilla family’s location determines travel duration. Some travels take 30 minutes, some take all day.

04
Day 04: Golden monkey Trekking and transfer back to Kigali

Your safari driving guide will collect you up today after a delicious breakfast and transport you to the park headquarters for a briefing along with your packed lunch. Once the pre-trip briefing is through, you’ll go out into the jungle to look for golden monkeys. Gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking provide almost the same experience, with the notable exception that the latter is far less hectic than the former. After lunch, you’ll go back to the resort to prepare for your journey to Kigali, where you may catch your evening flight if you like or do a brief sightseeing trip.

Visitors may experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by scavenging for golden monkeys in their natural environment, all while travelling in groups of up to eight people. The monkeys have a lot on their plates, but they enjoy entertaining the numerous tourists and researchers that come to see them on a daily basis. Primarily subsisting on bamboo, the monkeys may be seen closer to the volcano’s base.
