After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver guide will greet you and drive you to Arusha, where you will spend the night at one of our affiliated hotels. After meeting your driving guide and getting a rundown on the safaris to come, you can get some shut-eye until the morning.
Your driving guide will pick you up in the morning after breakfast and take you on a trip to Tarangire National Park. Mainly consisting of low hills on the bottom of the Great Rift Valley, the park follows the course of the Tarangire River. Most of the natural plants are Acacia forests and huge African Baobab trees. There are also large areas of wetland in the south
When it is dry in Tanzania, animals flock to the river and the marshes. Some of Africa's greatest elephant herds are said to reside near Tarangire. The Greater Kudu, the Fringe-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings are some of the uncommon wildlife that call this national park home.
The wildlife drive will continue after lunch at the picnic area, and we'll stay at Tarangire Public Campsite for the night.
We leave for Serengeti National Park right after breakfast. On the way, we pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the pretty Karatu Highlands farming area. We'll be leaving the mountains behind and heading down to the Serengeti National Park in untamed Africa, where the plains extend on forever. Our goal is an area of the Central Serengeti called Seronera, where there are a lot of animals. There is a river there called the Seronera River, which provides water and attracts a wide variety of wildlife representative of the Serengeti's species. We make it to the Serengeti in time for lunch and then spend the afternoon on a safari. Camping at the Serengeti Nyani Camp Site
After breakfast, continue your safari by driving around the Sogore River Circuit. This is a loop through the plains south of the Seronera River, where you might see lions, Thomson gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs.
A picnic lunch under the towering acacia trees at the centre or a hearty meal at the lodge will be on the agenda for the afternoon. After eating, we'll take a drive around the Maasai Kopjes anticlockwise through the Kopjes Circuit, where we're likely to see a pride of lions and several imposingly enormous cobras.
Kopjes, which are weathered granite outcrops, are scattered over the plains like islands. Many of these kopjes are like small ecosystems because they have pools carved into the rock that provide shelter and water. This makes the kopjes an excellent place to see wildlife during the dry seasons, especially lions, who wait patiently for animals to come drink from the watering holes. Today is the day to embark on your scheduled hot air balloon ride, for those who booked it in advance. There is camping available at the Serengeti Nyani Campsite.
The next morning, after breakfast, we will go to the Western Corridor, the far western part of Serengeti National Park. On our way from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor zone, we will stop and go on a game drive. We plan on returning to camp in time for lunch at the lodge and then going on an afternoon game drive thereafter. Serengeti Nyani Campsite Lodging
Our morning game drive will resume shortly after breakfast and will go all the way up until lunch. Following lunch, we'll drive to Ngorongoro for the night. As we travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will get the opportunity to see traditional Maasai living and gain some insight into this fascinating culture. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite
We will descend more than 600 metres into the crater after an early breakfast in order to witness animals on a half-day safari experience. The Ngorongoro National Park provides year-round water and food for a wide range of species, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthogs, and enormous African elephants.
Predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards, which can be hard to spot and sometimes require a trained eye, live in this beautiful conservation.
We will go to Lake Magadi, which is one of the most important parts of the crater. It is a large, shallow alkaline lake that is one of the crater's main features. Here, you may often observe many flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic birds. After lunch, we'll begin leaving the crater and go directly to Arusha or the airport.
NOTE: One day can be extended for a Lake Manayara National Park visit.
