Our drivers will be holding a sign with your name on it, making them easy to spot in the crowd. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your waiting vehicle. In the evening, we will all get together for a welcome dinner and get to know each other. During dinner, we will also go over the itinerary for our time in Tanzania and address any questions or concerns you may have. Following breakfast and a brief period of shopping, you will embark on a ferry to Unguja Zanzibar. We will take you to the Dreams Hotel or a similar quality hotel in Stone Town upon your arrival, where you will spend three nights.

Prison Island is known for its population of giant tortoises and provides an opportunity to explore crystal-clear waters through snorkelling. When visiting Stone Town, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the charming, narrow streets, surrounded by fascinating historical buildings and vibrant markets. Make sure to check out the renowned House of Wonders and the Old Fort before returning to your hotel for a peaceful evening.

Today, we have the opportunity to visit Kijichi village for a spice farm tour and a Swahili cooking class and to contribute to the community. Throughout the spice farm tour, you will gain valuable insights into the diverse range of spices cultivated in Zanzibar and their significance in authentic Swahili cuisine. During the cooking class, participants will have the chance to prepare a variety of delicious dishes, including pilau rice, coconut curry, and mandazi. Lastly, we will be visiting a nearby school or orphanage to contribute supplies and spend quality time with the children, fostering meaningful relationships and leaving a positive impact on the community.
